We specialize in home raised Rat Terriers in both types; A (long legged) and B (short legged).
The short legged version is also known as the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier, dependant upon which registry you use. Most notably, the United Kennel Club.
Hunters of ground vermin, this breed are very easy keepers with minimal grooming. They are devoted to their master making them easy to train. Their antics will certainly make you laugh daily! These former farm favorites have evolved over time into wonderful house pets - no matter where you live! However, their hunting instincts remain the same today as they were decades ago. They are still most excellant hunters of ground vermin and will put any house cat to shame!

We strive to promote and foster the highest standards among breeders, owners and fanciers. Therefore, we have started health testing our dogs for OFA-PLL (Primary Lens Luxation - a disease found in the Rat Terrier breed, affecting the eyes). Please be patient with us as our breeding stock dogs will be tested one by one. Results can be viewed on our "PLL" page. Our goal is to breed for health with an eye towards conformation.
On a personal note: Our dogs are first and foremost beloved pets. They live in our home and are part of our family. We have shown our dogs in Conformation, participated in obedience classes, marched them in local parades, taken to baseball games, and on camping trips. The activities we do with our dogs are a heartfelt hobby and not a commercial business endeavor. These dogs bring us such joy and endearment. We are proud and delighted to share them with you! Pedigree's available upon request.
