We raise UKC Teddy Roosevelt Terriers (also known as the 'Rat Terrier type B' in other registries).
Teddies are a low set, small to med size, muscular hunting dog with short legs, and heavy bone density. This is a hardy breed with a lifespan of approximately 15-16 yrs. These intelligent, sensitive, 'former farm favorites' have evolved over time into wonderful house pets - no matter where you live! However, their hunting instincts remain the same today as they were decades ago. They are still most excellant hunters of ground vermin and will put any house cat to shame!!
We prefer to call them "teddy rat terriers."

We follow the UKC standard of excellance and abide by the UKC Breeder Code of Ethics! We strive to promote and foster the highest standards among breeders, owners and fanciers. We encourage sportsmanship and cooperation between breeders, for the improvement and advancement of the breed.
While we realize there's no such thing as a perfect dog... we have 3 main goals in breeding:
- a strong conformation
- an excellant health standard
- a great temperament
Please note that we only have (1) litter per year, available to new homes at the age of 8wks. All puppies will be registered through United -or- Universal Kennel club. We prefer local delivery but, will work with you for other shipping arrangements. Please feel free to contact us for more details and puppy availability.
